What a wild weekend it has been. It started with me waking up Friday morning, taking a sip of my coffee and promptly spewing it out. I spent the entire day in bed. Something is just not right with my body. Unexpected muscle cramping, swelling in my hands, dizziness, winded walking up a flight of stairs...but,no worries. Mrs. CB is seeing a new GP this week and if she's happy with her, I'll make an appointment too.
Because I was feeling like a punkass, I missed going to the play with Mrs. CB and friends. While waiting for the play to start, they witnessed an awesome powdered donut cloud:

Yesterday, we woke up to no cable or internet access. After confirming that there was a massive outage in our area, we decided to load up the car and drive to my hometown where my sister and two of her kids were visiting. We actually had a good time. My sister is still a mess, but she is trying, so I must try as well.
My stepdad bought us these delicious looking thick-cut sirloin to tempt us into staying for dinner, even though we had already told him we couldn't. So we brought them home and I believe we will be having them for dinner tonight. We left earlier than we wanted when a major storm hit the area. Before leaving town though, we had to make one stop...at The Kewpee.

BEST BURGERS EVAH!!!!!! I hate that it's a 200 mile roundtrip to get them.
My car finally turned over 10,000 miles. I have had it for 2 years. I obviously need to drive more.
On the way home, we tried to outrace the storm, and at one point we thought we had succeeded. As we neared Marysville, tho, we noticed field dirt and debris floating in the air- blowing in multiple directions. Passing through, I could see in the rear view mirror that the field dirt was going up...into the pitch black sky. Mrs. CB said it was at least 200 feet in the air.I was looking for a bitch on a bike to float by. I got in the passing lane and floored it back towards Columbus, laughing at the idiots driving a mere 60 mph with a tornado riding up their ass. We got home safely and just in time for the storm to hit Columbus.
Once we were safely ensconced in our home, I drank 3/4 a bottle of wine and made many typos while chatting with friends. And I woke up today with NO hangover.
Mrs. CB is off to her family reunion (we have another one next week that I MUST attend!!!!!)and I am here with the boys, preparing to write. Life is good, for now.
