Thank god it's Thursday! I am exhausted to the point that I can't sleep...enter NyQuil Cherry shots!! I hope it helps with this allergy/cold thing.

Got good news on the job thingy. The manager that I initially interviewed with stopped me in the hall yesterday to let me know that he was conntacting HR that morning and I should expect a call for the second interview. Now I can spend tomorrow morning researching employee conflict resolution and non-monetary motivation/reward ideas.

This job/promotion will be a HUGE career advancement, but I still have a few "Is this the right thing for me and Linda?" moments...it will be a big change in my personal life as well.

I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Good luck with the second interview! I'm sure that you'll do really well. And I wouldn't worry TOO much about how it will affect you and Ms. Cabenson. I've always found that if I like the job and I like my home life, I don't really have a problem reconciling the two no matter how much they clash. It's when one of them SUCKS and you start using the other as an excuse to get away - that's when the problems start, or I guess become more evident anyway...

Hopefully this promotion means less dealing with shingles tests? I can't imagine that's very fun.

No more shingles testing for me...although it really is cool in a nerdy science-geek, microscope-toting kind of way. The third interview will be the worst... the dude has a serious speech impediment and hardly anyone can understand him...and I can only bite the inside of my cheek so long to keep from laughing...I'm toast!

I can't drink the original...only the red kkind. The blue-green reminds me os something an octopus would squirt out. Never mind me...I have a fever and cannot be held responsible for anything I say or type...just ask the Mrs.

I could kick his ass if I wanted...he's just a measly little HR person holding the power of the universe in his wimpy little hands ;)
