Today is the last day of my three-day weekend, but I got a lot done, so I am happy. Oh, and the wife and I, trying to ward off the viral infection of the damned, decided to have a bottle of sparkling Pinot Noir (which was white) for brunch. I made Chicken and Veggies in a red wine sauce and it was pretty damn tasty. And now I am drinking wine (it's only 2:30 in the afternoon and I have a buzz) and watching "Shooting Vegetarians" because Brooke Smith plays a chicken. Interesting social commentary. Seriously! Hey, I do what I have to do to support my current TV crush. Oh, she also plays the judge...with ruby red lipstick.

I have finished my Femslash08 fic and I hope it is acceptable. I have a fic for IDF ready and I am working on a PicFic as well. And my better half has written a lovely Callie/Hahn piece but she isn't sure she can wait until IDF to post.

I am currently drinking a lovely Malbec and downloading pics for my pf. And I think I might need a nap. It sucks to be elderly ;)

I have a full week at work this week, then a half week next-took time off for the new X-Files movie-yeah, that's the kinda XF fan I am.

Mrs. CB still has a fever, so she is cut off from the booze.

Quick fandom question-why do so many Callie/hahn fics have pancakes in them?

Anyway, peace out, I need another drink.

Oooh, I love Malbec. I ran out of my sparkling shiraz over the weekend (sob), so switched to Lillet.

And I was old school and made a tuna noodle casserole (with peas) yesterday.

The only kind of fever we want Mrs. CB to have is the same kind Peggy Lee had. (And if she starts singing this to you today, bwhahaha, my work is done.) Here's hoping she's better soon.
