Shit. As diligent as I am in avoiding the triggers, I can feel the cold fingers of a migraine as they grasp my eyes and begin their evil massage. It started on the left side...definitely not a good sign. Neck and jaws already tensing and light sensitivity is starting to rear it's ugly head. At least I'm not sick to my stomach...I was able to wolf down a steak and still help Mrs CB get the groceries (I push the cart and sneak in the cookies).

I'm wondering what triggered this one. Not cilantro, definitley not using artificial sweetener. The weather is changing...much warmer and more humid. Damn...we had bacon 2 days ago. It was very smokey and sometimes smoked things and foods with artificial smoke can trigger one. Stoopid pig meat...but so damn salty good.
I took the Imitrex so it should help, but I'm bummed. I wanted to write tonight.

On a better note we ate out and I got busted looking at the young server's butts. Of course, when I pointed out exactly what was making me drool all over my not-too-healthy salad, Mrs CB joined right in. We are old hag dykes (she is, not me...really!)

Should probably go lay down...would hate to break my 19 month streak of NOT visiting the ER. I wonder if they remember me? ;)

Okay, so...pinot noir is good for a migraine, then?

Of course not!;)But it does taste so good with chocolate. I really don't have trouble with red wine which is a surprise. But no cilantro, parsley, artificial sweetner, smoked stuff, artificial smoke...or chardonnay.

artificial sweetner

I'd die without my diet coke

my theory: I eat enough calories - I sure don't wanna be drinking them (unless alcohol is involved)
