cabensonAh...nothing like waking up to complete silence because a storm blew out your power...AGAIN! I can't sleep when it's that utterly still...I run a fan at night just to block out the few cars that travel our street and of course, to block out Mrs CB's snoring...gawd awful!!
So, we went shopping today. Mrs CB is a highschool science teacher and they go back to school on Sept. 1st. That means we absolutely HAD to go shopping for back-to-school clothing teacher style. We also had to find outfits to wear to my big high-school reunion in 2 weeks.(I can't wait to see the faces of my small town Catholic school chums when I introduce them to my lesbian partner- heh)
So Mrs CB finds a beautiful suit, peacock blue, jacket, slacks, vest. I try on 600 outfits and find nothing. I have a clothing issue that many women have...my boobs are just too damn big to fit in a jacket that is the same size as my slacks. Finally, we found a "separates" section and they just so happened to have one of those looong (duster-length) jackets in a size that fit my hoots. It's black, and with my height, it looks great. I will be Teh Hott Lesbian Love at my Catholic school reunion.
On the way out of the mall, I saw the most beautiful thing. It was a black leather car-length button down jacket. So soft (lambskin...I hate lamb anyway) and such a rich color...and it was 50% off. Plus a free down vest. I have never, ever had a leather coat and I NEVER spend that kind of money on "clothes", but you can bet that beautiful bitch is now hanging in my closet. I will be Teh Hott Lesbian Love in Bad-Ass Black Leather...and it will be good!

She gets her Masters in Education in Dec and may have an opportunity to get into administration after that...and if the tax levee passes in November
