The repeated lingering looks between the two attorneys failed to escape Olivia’s attention as the conversation turned toward case law.

She stared into her drink as she ran the names through her mind, Alex, Abbie, Sandy, Sandra…Alexandra. An unrestrained “Son of a bitch” betrayed her rage as Alex and Abbie turned their attention toward her.
“Liv, honey, are you okay?” Alex asked, a nervous grin forming at the corner of her mouth.
And your smile is a thin disguise
Olivia, struggling to contain her fury, looked pointedly at the blonde before settling her angry gaze on Abbie.
