It's a September Saturday morning in Central Ohio and I think you all know what that means:
O-H....
Asher decided to wake me up at 6:00 this morning- seriously?! This is the cat that we never heard more than a squeak from for 5 years and now that he has his big-boy meow on, he uses it every morning to wake me up. He seems to think that there is nothing wrong with reqesting an ear-scratching at the ass-crack of dawn. Good thing I love the little bastard.
Had some pulmonary function testing done this week to try and figure out this asthma thing. Resp. therapist thinks it's less asthma (my scores were 100% both before and after a breathing treatment)and more cardio with a hint of acid reflex that is causing my chronic cough. Saw the doc yesterday and she claims I am "not your normal asthmatic". Oh really ;) Because I now have trouble catching my breath just talking, she decided to change my stress test from a treadmill one to a chemically induced one. You all know how I loves my chemicals ;) That's this Wed. My resting heartrate is usually in the 100's so I am taking bets as to how high they can get it....And, I need to schedule an appointment to see a pulmonologist. I think it's very odd that I became so symptomatic in the last 3 months.
And because of this inability to catch my breath and my racing heartrate, I have been so damned tired that I am usually crashing by 8:00pm. I may have to take a nap on Monday so I can stay up for the season premiere of T:TSCC. I want to take a peek at "Fringe" too.
Anyway, that's it for now. I think I need a nap before I grab a shower...

Date: 2008-09-06 03:32 pm (UTC)Good luck getting the breathing thing figured out. That sounds like it would be very difficult to deal with. It sounds like they are at least maybe heading in the right direction to figuring out what the problem is? I hope so.
I'm so excited for Fringe! It looks awesome. J.J. Abrams always give me like 2 seasons of a show to love and then breaks my fangirl heart in later seasons but I willingly fall for it every time.
