Sunday, Sunday...bored at work

cabensonLong Time no post. Looking back, it seems to have become an October habit for me. I get a viral infection at the beginning of the month (maybe from that HAWT MILF at the Indigo Girls concert?) that allows for a secondary bacterial infection to take hold and it just takes forever to get over them both. Add in this MYSTERY asthma (seeing pulmonologist next month) and freaky pain/spasms in my upper left abdomen area, I am thinking we need to search for a large plastic bubble. And like Mrs. THI said, you can all mock me from outside. So, one more damn imaging test this week to make sure I ain’t growing anything I ought not to be growing, and then we can treat the spasms accordingly. THEN! I can get my fat ass back on the workout I was doing so I can meet my weight loss goal for the year.
Things are good here at CasaCB. The boys are giving the wife a fit this morning (I’m at work…yay :( ), the Bucks lost to JoPa and the Lions last night, and we are expecting a “rain/snow mix” this week. Couldn’t be happier if I tried.
On a good note, I have fabulous hair today. More fabulous than usual, and that’s saying a lot.
Good thing is that Friday is Halloween! Once again we will be representing a television pairing. I need to get my costume, and get on the pumpkin carving wagon here REAL soon. I have Friday off, but the morning is packed with medical crap, so I only have a short time to get things ready for Trick-or-Treat and The Party.
In fandom news, Grey’s Anatomy is KILLING me. Seriously! I think I know what’s gonna happen this week as far as Callie/Hahn/Mark, but really, let’s just get on with the GOGA please. Anyone want to make any predictions? What are your thoughts on Callie/Hahn and where do you think they are going with the storyline?
This past ep did provide one amusing fandom-related note for me: everyone that was bitching about how horrible Hahn was with the steak knife comment last week are now saying how bad they feel for her because of Callie’s antics.
And for anyone wondering, my Callie/Hahn vid, “A Song to Sing” got yanked from YouTube for copyright violations, so I deleted it. I am gonna try and put it up on imeem or google as well as my website. Based on the Canadian preview for this week’s ep, I may have what I need to start my next vid after this week’s episode. I am also going to start the sequel to “The Gaying of Callie and Hahn” Pictorial…probably after lunch today ;)
Okay, that’s it for me for now. I hope you are all doing well. I have been trying to stay caught up on my flist, but in all honestly, I have been sleeping a ton. Now that I am feverless…AND can drink again (21 days sans Pinot is TOO long), I am ready to get busy. I may write NaNoWriMo next month too…

I'm not at all happy with the recent turn of events on Grey's. I think you're absolutely correct as to what's going to transpire. You're going to get plenty of scenes for your vid and what a perfect song.... poor Hahn. :(

Date: 2008-10-26 08:16 pm (UTC)i'd like Hahn to catch Callie/Mark and go off on Callie. i feel pretty jipped that we've only gotten Callie's side of the story (esp since i find Hahn the more interesting character). i mean, giving Hahn the chance to voice her feelings might open up the storyline...and not make it so one sided.
in short, i'm for Hahn/Whoever Opens up Hahn's Storyline/Character.
but, as i've said before in my posts...I just really want Brooke Smith to find a real show. i'm really nervous about Kevin McKidd coming on. i lurved him and his performance in Rome and if i have to watch shonda turn him into a 1 note solider with issues...it's gonna suck.

I was pretty disappointed in Callie. But I think it's because Shonda thinks her starting-to-get-lame-and-really-cruel freak-out is funny. And because of that, I wouldn't be surprised if Hahn never finds out (re writer's blog, which left me with the impression they don't understand what the big deal is about). But ya know what? I think Callica's going to happen. But I've also lowered my expectations for the future. Sticking with enjoying the superficial.
