AJ as Scarpetta ... I don't think so. I love looking at Aj, but she is not Kay Scarpetta, at least not in my mind.

Some peeps have asked my thoughts on Otalia so I am gonna write them up and post them tomorrow or this weekend. Still loving the sl which says a lot for me at the moment.

i suspect that the movies will not revolve around the era of the books, but in fact may plumb the time before "post mortem" when kay was younger (which means no lucy, unfortunately) either that, or they'll use the books as "inspiration" in the way that Bones somewhat resembles the original, but isn't really a direct leap.

and while that's a bad thing regarding the first few scarpetta books, i'd say given how unreadable the last few were that it's a good thing. (i still can't get through blow fly)
