My Annual Ohio State Fair Post

Gotta work this weekend and I had today off, so Mrs. C and I got up early and headed off on our annual trek (4 whole miles down the road) to the Ohio State Fair. There was foodage! There were animals! There was BOOTY!! Heavy picspam- dial up beware!



Rules are meant to be obeyed!


Duct tape now comes in over 20 colors...

Now, it could be because I grew up in the desert... but I have never seen a butter sculpture (not counting pretty pats-o-butter)... that's fascinating.

The booty is quite thoroughly documented, but I am surprised you didn't get arrested for taking so many pictures of people's asses. I guess the cops and troopers were lulled into a stupor by all the fried goodies. (Someday I must have friend oreos!)

Man, I am so depressed that my visit to Ohio was just two weeks early for this AMAZING state fair. First of all, I notice the sign does not say that pants are required. Shoes, shirt, no guns. But there is no "Must wear pants" rule. I am all over this fair. And then butter sculptures and fried everything and DUCT TAPE solar panels. I am sorry, I can't stop getting all caps over this amazing collection of amazingness. Your blue ribbon project for next year should totally be made out of duct tape. And possibly fried.
