New Year's Eve post

Like so many, 2009 was a really shitty year. Besides having 2 out of 3 daddies needing multiple bypass surgeries, I was dealing with my own health issues including a heart attack scare. And then we lost Billy.
The economy sucked, but I still have my home and my job, and health insurance.
But there were some good things. I fell in love with the Otalia storyline and cheered as a soap damn near got it right. Too bad they fucked it up, it would have been epic.
I also met up with so many wonderful people in NYC in October. I really don't have the words to express how much I enjoyed that weekend. Elders rock! And some of you Otalia peeps I met? Awesome.
And throughout it all, good and bad, Mrs. CB was right there beside me. Can't go wrong with that. Unless you give her drunken fruit and free range to sing show tunes...
So now I am tasked ith coming up with "doable" resolutions for 2010. I'll start with ordering 2010 from Netflix and then patiently wait for that space public transportation system to give me a lift to the moon.
Until then , my friends, Be safe. Be healthy. And most importantly, be happy!!
