Blizzard prep v.2010

cabensonSo, it seems we are expecting a little bit of snow tomorrow and Sat. People here are concerned enough that they canceled my PT scheduled for tomorrow and had me come in today instead. And the one for Sat? Well, let's just say I'll be expecting a call to re-schedule that one as well.
So after PT (which is going VERY well, thank you!)I hit the store for our annual Blizzard Prep. Since this is also Thooper-Dooper Bowl Weekend, I got us a bunch of crap to eat. I will be making chili, then there will be brats,chilidogs, wings, mozza sticks...all that bad stuff we are giving up for Lent. And the booze. Beer for m'lady and wine for moi. We are giving THAT up for Lent as well. Bad food, booze, and possibly chocolate. I am already on the low end of my old caffeine intake, but getting the wife to walk by the chocolate? Gonna be a struggle. I'll just drag er to the gym instead.
Speaking of the wife, she is at Parent/Teacher Conferences and I am in charge of all the crap she would normally do. Cats are fed and their boxes are clean, trash can returned from curb, pre-emptive layer of salt on driveway so I don't fall again. All I gotta do is pill the cats and wash the blanket one of the little fuckers puked on.
Then I am ready for bed! I swear, they broke me at PT today, but the pain is almost completely gone and I am now a gimp without a limp.

Do you watch the superbowl (is that football?) or do you just eat the food. I ask because if it was me it would be more about the food than the sport. Unless by sport we actually mean a Doctor Who marathon or something that involves sitting on my fat arse eating food and getting up for a toilet run.
Is the salt actual salt or is it mixed with something? I've only seen salt on a road once and have always wondered. This was where I saw snow: http://www.sandyosullivan.com/halifax/ (that was me in Halifax in 2004. My only experience with snow).
