New Years in New York-Dec 30, 2007
Jan. 6th, 2008 05:28 pmWoke up with a bit of a headache so we headed to Brooklyn Diner for breakfast:

Mrs. CB had Blueberry and Lemon Zest pancakes,(that's her rack) while I had

Tony Bennett's French Toast.
Fortified, we hit the road like true tourists and took a million pics:

Big Red Christmas Balls

Just to show you how big they were (I'm 5'10")

Big Ornaments

Mrs. CB and big lights

Big train, big clown, big queer...you decide what's what.
After lunch, we went back to the room for a quick nap. Then off to:

Radio City Music Hall where we saw the Rockettes. That place is absolutely stunning inside. And due to my Ticketmaster kung fu, I had gotten us tix only 11 rows from the stage. Oh yeah!
When the show was over, it was dark out:

We left the show and went to Bar Americain (Bobby Flay) for a lovely dinner. I now have a signature drink, the Dark and Stormy-dark rum, ginger beer and lime. Yum!
Post dinner entertainment was a walk in the rain to Rockefeller Center to see the tree:

Tree topper

RC Holidays

Ice Rink. We couldn't get close, but an officer took a pic for us:

Snowflake light show was really cool!

Angels trumpetting their horns

Soldier's butt
And bonus shots of me having fun with the "O-H-I-O cheer"under the tree:

"O"-

"H"-

"I"-

"O"
GO BUCKEYES!!
We went back to the hotel, ordered a bottle of wine and got a good night's sleep in preparation for New Year's Eve!

I'm soooo jealous that you got to hit up Rockefeller and Radio City. I just love going up there at Christmas time. It's always so beautiful. Glad to see you two having a good time!
And it totally took me a minute (umm, or two) to figure out you were spelling 'Ohio'. I was all, "aww, look at her being all adorable and waving her arms around".
