I took my cousin's kid to dinner at our fave place: Cap City Diner:

I had the meatloaf/toast/mashed taters/onion string/bbq gravy with skillet beans.

Last week it warmed up a little and our bff's made BBQ in their smoker: deviled egg, potato salad, cole slaw, corn pudding, brisket and ribs!

dessert was apple cobbler
Mrs CB was off last Monday so we went to breakfast at Bob Evans while waiting for Artie's vet visit:

Bob Evan's 'healthy' Biscuit Bowl- eggs, veggies, hollandaise

Mine was biscuit bowl with sausage, taters, eggs, cheese and sausage gravy. I could only eat half.
Friday night dinner at Vino Vino:

Mrs CB started with crabcakes in a roasted tomato aioli

I had wild mushrooms in Marsala cream sauce on polenta

Mrs CB had scallops with spinach fettuccini

I continued with my theme by having Portabella mushroom ravioli with proscuitto in brown butter sauce.

Mrs CB had he voodoo walnut brownie with sugar straws in a warm Kahlua sauce (minus the coffee ice cream)

while I indulged my chocolate allowance with the "Chocolate Creme Brulee Flight":
white chocolate and brown sugar, light chocolate and mocha, dark chocolate and black cherries.
So. Fucking. Good!
