First, thanks for all the support. I seldom get angry enough to vent on this thing, but the back is acting up so I can't just throw the old lady down...
I heard this part of a statement by acting CIA Director John McLaughlin on the radio this morning:
“The intelligence community of that day was for counterterrorism, 300 people spread-eagled across a dike. We now have a hundred people who do nothing but watch-listing alone,” he said.
All I heard was "Spread-eagle across a dyke" and laughed my ass off. What's wrong with that?
