cabensonI lost my voice the other day. One too many Billy Bob impressions, I guess. It started to come back this morning, much to the chagrin of my wife and co-workers. I LOVE using Jack Daniels as a medicinal aid.
We are prepared for tomorrow’s onslaught of Trick-or-Treaters. The pumpkin lights are lining the sidewalk and I put up the temporary “Crime-Scene Tape” fence to keep the little shits from trampling through our yard. Yes. I HAVE become that bitchy woman on the corner. We picked up some extra candy for the neighborhood kids…right. Whoppers are mine! I called them. I still need to carve three pumpkins tomorrow and one on Friday. Glad I am off the rest of the week. And just what kind of wine does one drink when handing out treats? Vampire brand Pinot Noir from Transylvania, of course.
The costumes for the party Friday night are a go! (This will be the fifth anniversary of when the Mrs. and I met…and at the same party. I was dressed as Gabrielle from X:WP…wearing my “I slept with Xena” t-shirt.) Mrs. CB shortened my skirt (anyone wanting a pic needs to send a SASE). I just need to make a tie thingy and an emblem for the vest…oh, and practice my “fingers in the pits” thing. Oh…and straighten my hair. Like that will happen. My icon…self portrait. Really!
And it appears that I will be available to keep all my harem bitches warm during the evenings after all. The second shift position was written incorrectly (they forgot to add “Senior” to “Tech”) and I would have had to take a 2 grade pay scale cut. I don’t think so, fuckyouverymuch. Goodbye evenings, hello again, 4:00 am wake up calls. Mrs. CB was happy… I’ll be home every night to cook and we got OSU Women B-ball season tix. They are the coaches’ pick to win the Big Ten this year. Go Bucks!
The research on the essay is complete. I watched ALL the A/O eps for potential HoYay! It was a difficult task, but I was willing to make that kind of sacrifice for you, my friends. It is due to be posted Nov. 17th. I’ll keep everyone updated, because I know how much this means to you.
