Up and at 'em
Nov. 28th, 2004 09:09 amI stole this from
say_revolution because she has beautifully small hands, and those hands are love, dammit!
Went to a lovely holiday party last night. Wonderful food, beautiful home, friendly guests. Wound up talking horror flicks with a close friend. Anyone out there remember "Happy Birthday to Me" with Melissa Sue Anderson from "Little House on The Prairie" fame? I didn't think so. Memories...sweet and bloody. Good times.
OSU women's b-ball game this afternoon. During the media time-outs, the cheerleaders throw prizes into the crowd. While the coveted t-shirt still eludes me, I did manage to snag a swoosh ball from an elderly woman during one of the time-outs at yesterday's game. Just reached right over her back and grabbed it before she could wrap her shriveled little hands around it. Ah...height is good! Mrs. CB and I were bored during the first game (our gals played the second game in a tourney) so we decided to re-inact the hundreds of fouls called from our seats. Didn't last long. She ran into one of her students and we decided to behave. I'll not be consuming as much sugar today-the brownies and apple crisp are gone.
Gonna work on getting the Christmas decorations out tonight and tomorrow (I have tomorrow of as well!) Grabbed some stuff at Hobby Lobby to work on my Wizard of Oz display. Mrs. CB wants to get a small, real tree this year. I just want one large enough to put the train around..it scares the boys and keeps them out of the tree.Or so we try to tell ourselves.
