cabensonWe took Bruin and Artemis to the vet today for their annual checkups and such. Artie went first, and because he currently has another break out of milliary dermatitis, all he received was a cortisone injection with the promise of his vaccines in 10 days.
Bruin was due 3 shots and after the 2nd one, he was DONE! with the vet. He totally freaked out, jumped off the table, and burrowed away in the pet carrier, growling the entire time.
He's just like his Tall Mama. The vet got enough of the 3rd injection in him, and they are all indoor babies, so we aren't worried.
Now that we are home, the real fun has begun. The other three boys sniff the two that have been to the vet and start growling at them. Mrs. CB is one her second margarita and I am ready to take a muscle relaxer. Round 2 is on the 30th when we get to take the Twins AND! Artie (recheck). Then I get to take Fat Bastard (aka Greyson) during my much-needed vacation from work. And I wanted to bring home the little 12-week old cutie we saw at the vet's...she was gorgeous!
Other news, we do the work move on Monday and we are slowly getting packed. Also, I went to the doc a couple days ago for my back-just really bad muscle spasms this time-and she told me my lingering cough is more likely asthma rather than Teh Consumption, and that my blood pressure finally went sky-high. I may have to start using an inhaler and OMG! I have to give up salt. My margarita tasted so naked :(
