Please accept this donation to your fine sports program. Any AA football team that can not only upset the #5 team from up north, but also knock them completely out of the Top 25 (a record decline, mind you) deserves all the love and support they can get. On Sunday morning, our local Krogers store had "We love Appalachian State!!! (in Scarlett and Grey lettering of course)tee shirts on sale. I may buy two.

I could hear the game commentary even in the mall. Atleast they didn't try and run up the score on the hapless Nevadans like Oklahoma did on whatever poor team they faced.

Much love to my fellow I-AA school kickin it with the big leagues. I don't feel nearly as bad that we lost to them in the post-season a couple years ago.

Next week they will once again be rivals. But for now, for this glorious time, they are heroes.

That game was bitchin'! I've followed Appalachian State football since I was a teen because I wanted to go to school there. The win was all the more sweeter since I can't fucking stand Michigan. Whoooo!
