Snow, Snot and Apple Pie

cabensonThere was a dusting of snow in my car when I left for work this morning. I hope that's all we get this winter.
Mrs. CB is at Parent/Teacher conferences and will have worked 15+ hours by the time she finally gets home tonight. No "Girls Night Out" with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
artskat which is probably good because I have another sinus infection...no, strike that, I think it's the same one I had in September. I have stronger antibiotics (which caused my boss to recommend I eat lots of yougurt for the next 2 weeks) and some thooper-dooper loopy cough syrup. And did I mention it's our anniversary this weekend? Yeah! bastard germs.
Now, if I were single (which Mrs. CB is constantly reminding me that I am NOT)and had tomorrow off, I would probably be sneaking a bottle of Jack into a midnight showing of Goblet of Fire. And how cool would it have been if the Johnny Cash movie had been named Ring of Fire instead of Walk the Line. I'd be having a double arson kind of weekend.
Got notice of my annual raise yesterday. Any suggestions on how best to spend that extra $32 per paycheck? I'll barely be able to upgrade my strippers. Number 1 on my list of post-Holiday chores= Get! New! Job!
I just helped Pizza Hut celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Pan Pizza. Don't laugh, it was a really big thing when it first came out. We considered that "gourmet" back in the early 80's. And FYI, the Apple Pies at Pizza Hut are really good. Hide-them-from-your-spouse kinda good!
I need a nap.
