I just got back from the local dykery where I was able to snag 5 of their Farmers Market Freshly (still warm!)baked pies: 2 Peach Praline, 2 Cherry Almond, and a Colonial Apple. Now Mrs. CB will have PIE to take up to her family Tgiving. I shall be here, sitting on my fat ass eating one of the Peach Praline and one of the Cherry Almond. I shall eat PIE and only PIE from Thursday until they are gone except for the homeade scalloped potatoes that I am making as well.

In other news from my world, I was once again felled by a mysterious fever/upper respiratory thingy. As this is the third time in six weeks, I was put on one last round of antibiotics, then if it still is there, they will do a CT of my sinuses. I was so sick and utterly exhausted that we did not go to see Spamalot on Friday-we gave the tix to the boys across the street who take care of our kitties while we are on vaca. I would really like to nip this little bastard in the bud before we DO go on vaca.

And it looks like we will be needing to find a sports bar in Manhattan to watch the Rose Bowl on Jan 1st. (unless of course, my Buckeyes luck their way into the Championship Game, but I doubt they will.)Any Buckeye fans live/gonna be in NYC for New Years Day? I am trying to train my liver to keep up with our New Year's Eve friends...drink 10, drink 11, drink 12...but it's hard to train for a drink-o-lympic when you are on thooper-dooper antibiotics.

Other shit-boys are good, Artie is growing back his fur and sees the specialist on Dec 5th. The others are plump and happy that it is cooler so they can snuggle more.

Work is work and I will say that I love 90% of my co-workers, but the other 10% drive me bonkers. edited to correct math

Mrs. CB is awesome and will be gifted with a special re-heated bowl of my famous chili when she gets home. Happy Anniversary, indeed!

I think the sickness is affecting your ability to calculate percentages. What do you think of the missing 30% of your coworkers?

mmmm....pie. This year thanksgiving coincides with my sister and her son's birthday so we're having ice cream cake with our pumpkin pie.
my suggestion for a bar to watch the rose bowl? scruffy duffy's on 8th avenue between 46 & 47.
check 'em out. www.scruffyduffys.com

Damn, Cherry Almond pie sounds really good!

Well, after Mrs. THI's vomitous debauch when a certain lady of our mutual acquaintance was last in town, I think we may all be sitting around drinking tea on NYE. Of course, now that Mrs. CB is hip by proxy, she may not want to hang out with us!

Happy Anniversary, Happy Thanksgiving, and Happy Pie Eating (take that last one as you may, perv-brain)!
