Oct. 13th, 2006 07:51 pmIf you have ever seen the movie Poltergeist, you will know that there is no greater harbinger of doom than to wake up and see your pet (Smokey) staring at the same spot on the wall above your bed. I half expected to find Mrs. CB sitting in front of a snowy, static-filled television, turning toward me to announce, "They're heeeere," when I stumbled into the living room this morning. It's not the first time he has done this, and it really bothers me. Why can't I see what HE sees?
Anyway...the back is much better and I went back to work yesterday. Still have some muscle tightness, but the pain is less and less each day. This is quite an improvement over the pre-surgery outages. Three weeks, maybe three months.
So, in order to keep myself amoungst the vertical, I was ordered by my boss and my spouse to basically do nothing this weekend. So, I won't. Need to rest up for the 6-days I am putting in next week.
Bruin says I need some wine, so I better go get some before he steals it all...again.
How do I do "nothing" for 2 days?
