NYE in NYC-Day 3 New Year's Eve Part Two

As it grew dark, we left our hotel, had to show our hotel cards to the police to get OUT of the barricade area, and hopped the F train for Brooklyn. We were spending NYE with
theholyinnocent and her spouse.
On our way to the subway station, I grabbed a few snaps of the party getting started:

The rolling sign said "Please don't pet the bomb sniffing dog"

NYE security everywhere. Once you were in the Times Square barricade, you could not leave and get back in.

Micky getting a little NYE action
We got to Brooklyn a bit early, so we walked to a little bar and had a few drinks before heading to THI's place.
THI and spouse were perfect hosts, treating us to:

Cheese

Chocolate Martinis

Lasagna

Delicious wine
and

Titamasu.
We had a wonderful time and when midnight approached, we gathered round the tube and watched the ball fall:

As hard as I tried, this is the only shot I got of the ball th entire trip.
Their cat, Bo, provided us with the entertainment

After a delightful evening, we hopped on the "Party Train" back to Manhattan-that was an experience, lemme tell you.

Times Square at 2:00am, after NYE

Command center across from our hotel

Our hotel had a barricade we had to get through
A lovely evening, not to drunk, and many wonderful memories.
