01. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
I made guacamole for the first time.
Participated in an online comm for Femslash and had a blast!
Was interviewd by Allaine for Bad Girls.

02. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I resolved to purchase no new unnecessary electronics stuff in 2010 and I bought nothing. I will try again with the weight thing in 2011.

03. Did someone close to you give birth?
A niece (by marriage that isn't legal in the US)had a beautiful baby boy.

04. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank god, cause 2009 was bad enough.

05. What countries did you visit?
None

06. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
A new job

07. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Columbus Day Weekend.

08. What was your biggest achievement(s) of the year?
Not sure I achieved anything in 2010. Kind of a dud year.

09. What was your biggest failure(s)?
Not losing any weight.
I wrote absolutely nothing, fandom or otherwise, in 2010.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I found out I was allergic to about a million foods including chocolate.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Throwing Mrs. CB a surprise AARP Day party!!
We replaced our leaking coffeemaker yesterday, so I am currently digging on the new one.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Mrs. CB for all the plays she did and still managed to get through a tough leadership program for school.
My elderly friends for being so elderly.
Artie for making it through his most recent illness. Was very touch and go. He has 3 lives left.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My niece- almost 19 and thinks the world owes her everything. Very disappointed in her lack of common manners, especially towards her grandparents.

14. Where did most of your money go?
porn,stripers, booze Vet bills, DC, vet bills

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
DC
Getting a Shark Steamer from sis-in-law for Christmas
Reconnecting with an old friend from high school.

16. What songs will always remind you of 2010?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you

iii. richer or poorer? Poorer but only because I voluntarily went part time.

20. How did you spend Christmas?
I worked the entire weekend but had a great meal with Mrs. CB and watched some fun movies.

21. Did you fall in love in 2010?
Already fell years ago.

22. How many one-night stands?
0. I did buy 2 new "every night" night stands tho.They look nice in the bedroom.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Lost, The Good Wife, V, FlashForward before it was canceled, Warehouse 13, and Eureka

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I see a few people in a different light, but hate is a bit strong.

26. What was the best book you read?
I re-read Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and I think that was the only book I actually got through.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Brandi Carlile

28. What did you want and get?
The Lost Encyclopedia for Christmas from Mrs. CB.

29. What did you want and not get?
A hundred million dollars.

30. Favorite film of this year?
Inception, Red, and Harry Potter and TDH part 1.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 44 and spent the day with MRS. CB and friends.

32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Artie not needing 2 surgeries and a week of hospitalization due to pancreatitis. Stress city!

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Cotton and more cotton.

34. What kept you sane?
Mrs. CB, elders, cats, family

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I think Archie Punjabi is fab, but I didn't get all stalkery over anyone this year.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
DADT being repealed.

37. Who did you miss?
The elders and my sisters kids.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Sandytherese was fun and maybe that pimp on Cleveland and 11th.

You can't depend on others for your happiness, you have to make it yourself.
