I was able to purchase tickets through BroadwayAcrossAmerica.com today for the Columbus performance of Wicked, two full days before the Ticketmaster "presale event". My nieces are beyond thrilled, my mother is wondering if it will be anything like The Wiz and I am contemplating how fast credit cards melt ;)July 1, 2007, I will be the coolest daughter and Aunt evah!

And speaking of a touring Bway show, Mrs. CB and I got tix to see The Putnam County Spelling Bee this weekend (my bday gift:). She is off to Chicago on Thurs. and will be seeing Wicked there while chaperoning her school's show choir appearance at a competition. I will be here, watching the boys and downing margaritas as fast as I can pour them.

Next weekend, after celebrating "Cinco de Derby", we will watch our beloved Katie Smith and the Detroit Shock play a pre-season WNBA game against the Washington Mystics. Court-side seats, yay! Farewell to IRS rebate, boo.

Now Mrs. CB has learned that Pat Benatar will be at the Ohio State Fair this summer. She already has the day the tix go on sale marked on the calendar. I swear, if she thinks she can go to this concert wearing spandex and leg-warmers, I am getting a divorce.

If you signed up for my "Five Meme", I am still working on them. Stupid real life things like job, cleaning, and outdoor shit have corrupted my time. You will get them, just not sure when.

Today is the one year anniversary of my first day at New Job. I'm still quite happy considering we haven't won the lotto and I still have to work. Hearing from peeps at Teh HellLab makes me even happier that I chose to make the move when I did.

We wanted to see this in NYC but decided to see something "new" and catch TPCSB here.

We saw "The Pirate Queen" and "Talk Radio". TPQ probably will close before summer.

The adverts I've seen for the Spelling Bee when it was on Bway (I think it is still, but I'm not sure) looked pretty hilarious, so I'm sure you'll have a great time.

First of all, I will admit that I wore Reebok high tops to the health club in the 1980's. And yes, I had spandex "leotards" in five fluorescent colors with matching slouch socks.

But I never, never, wore leg warmers. Black spandex compression capris with sashed translucent big shirts-- yes. Poodle- permed hair in banana clips and fluorescent headbands-- yes.

Leg warmers--NO.
