Good stuff and boring stuff

Today has seen a bounty of loveliness thrown my way. Firstly, I received my Season Three Law and Order:SVU in the mail. Couple this with the unexpected treasure of finding a torrent for all of Season 4 and I now have all of my A/O episodes except for one,"Ghost". I recorded it the last time it was on, but it failed. I need to see if I can find it on tape and try to record it to the DVR.
Anyway, I now have 99.5% of the necessary eps to start making some A/O music vids.
Last year when I was hired at The New Job, I was originally hired as a part-time employee. Two days before starting, they offered me a full-time job, which I accepted. Ten months later, I am informed that not only have they been charging me more for my insurance (part-timers pay more than full-timers which I think sucks), but I had not been accruing all of the vacation time I was owed. They fixed the vaca part today and my boss had a huge smile on her face when she showed me how much time I gained: 11 days!! And they are working to resolve the overpayment of my insurance as well-that would have never happened, at least not so quickly at Teh Hell Lab.
Speaking of Teh Hell Lab, when I left last year, another tech left to take a job at The Hospital as well. Last week, she got an email out of the blue from one of The Bitches we left behind- seems Bitch #1 can't keep up the pace anymore and is looking for new people to terrorize. It would be very funny to see her get a job at The Hospital, starting out as a grunt after so many years as Team Leader and Supervisor before I helped get her demoted. But I could never give her a rec. No, I'm not still bitter...

ralst but I keep changing Act 1. I had a crime scene pretty much worked out, but I thought it may be too much, even for SVU. I knew I had commitment issues, but really! I hope to lock it down this weekend during the drive up to see my folks.
And that brings me to our weekend plans. Mrs. CB and I are driving up the center of O-HI-O on Saturday. She will be dropping me off at Daddy #1's house where I will spend the day tutoring my folks on how to use their computer with their cameras and so forth. Mrs. CB will be driving Helen Stewart to visit her grandparents and I think seeing her sibs. I have had my car for 6 months now and it still only has 2700 miles on it. If the weather holds out, we will drive back Saturday night and I will spend Sunday dealing with the lumbar fallout of so much traveling in one day. While my back pain is normally subdued, I continue to have issues with traveling and can't seem to drive more than an hour without jacking up the inflammation.
I need to go hug and feed my boys.
bluepoet's dream post is a shared fear and makes me want to cuddle with them.
