cabensonThere is a small sporting event on television tonight-the NCAA National Championship Bowl Game- and a few guys from Columbus will be there. It really is incredible that Tressel has gotten the team to the Nat. Champ. game twice in the last four years. I dare say that some folk around here are comparing him to...Woody Hayes!!! And I wanna have Troy Smith's babies! And who doesn't like a team that puts pot leaves on their helmets?----------------------------------------------------------------------->
Four years ago, while awaiting the game, I decided to put a pet flap in the basement door for the boys. When I stood up, I heard three loud "pops" in my lower back. I was in major pain, but refused to go to the ER because The Game!! was about to start. Besides, I had a fifth of Jack to dull the pain.Three herniated discs, two major spinal surgeries and a stern warning from Mrs. CB later, I am enjoying the pre-game show by not doing a damned thing. We had leftover chili that I made yesterday-whoo! it was a bit spicier than I thought and has reignited the fire in my belly brought on by Friday night's adventure with Firecracker Chicken Stuffed Jalepeno Poppers. I guess once you turn 40 you are required to have antacid in your medicine chest at all times. I didn't get that memo.
I think I might make some 'ritas. And I am tempted to shave "O-H" on one side of Greyson, and "I-O" on the other...

ETA: While I love my Bucks and Scarlet and Gray, they are playing like shit tonight. I hope the current #1 team in the nation decides to join the game in the second half, or they will only be #1 for another 30 minutes.
