Happy New Year, everyone!

Just a quick note to say Happy 2007 to my flist. We spent the evening in and I found myself cuddling with Greyson at midnight (Mrs. CB, still flu-ridden, had gone to bed early), so I gave him a quick peck on his furry little noggin then spent the next 10 minutes calming him as people set off fireworks.

Since Thursday, I have left my house for less than 1 hour total, and have spent the majority of my at home time in jammies and reading fanfic. I have tomorrow off as well, so hopefully the wife will feel up to running around a little.

I have our traditional New Years Day meal started- garlic/pepper crusted pork loin in the rotisserie with mashed taters and sauerkraut. I am drinking mimosas while I cook since I have only had a couple glasses of wine since Thursday as well.

Gotta go, the phone beckons with family greetings.

No, I'm an accountant. Specifically a CPA. Math related, but not a math teacher. That was another career I considered though!

Ooooo - accounting always confused me (I can balance a check book though) - my profs in college blamed it on majoring in economics...

I like my accountant - he figured out my capital gains when I sold ancient stock to buy my house last year (great grandfather owned it originally, got it from grandma and had it in a reinvestment account...) all about the accountant!
