So, I'm sitting here drinking...
Jun. 27th, 2006 06:59 pm...and thinking about the dream I had last night. Unlike
maroukian, this was a very uncomfortable dream. The theme was "grief" and the two people I dreamed about were people I can honestly say I loved completely at some time in our history. Very strange, I must say.
And it's amazing how intense an emotion can feel when one is dreaming. To feel their pain so deeply was such a shock that I actually woke myself up. I can't remember the specifics, but their is one thing that bothers me. The last time I had a dream about Person "A", her son died two days later. I haven't spoken to her since the funeral, eight months ago. Person "B", I see at work several days a week. Her son is having minor surgery next month. I hope there is no connection.
In other news, I found out that we are getting an across-the-board 3% raise next month. And they do this EVERY year! You also get a merit raise at your annual review. Teh HellLab could learn a lot from these people. We were also invited to watch the "Red, White, and Boom" celebration from the roof of the parking garage. Not sure if we are gonna go, but now that we have that option, we'll think about it. This makes the Tater Tots 3x a week and access to fresh coffee and cookies look like nothing.
My little cyst problem got pretty big. Actually, it abcessed. On horse-pill antibiotics, but the mass is still about 1=2 inches. May have to go get it lanced YUCK!! If I could only twist...never mind. We all know what unnatural back movements can lead to.
Mrs. CB and I are researching new cars. The 2007's go on-lot starting next month and there will be deals to be had. Mrs. CB is pretty much set on a Toyota Matrix while I am looking at a Toyota Rav-4. I am not thrilled with the mileage, but I know that I need a vehicle that will be kinder to my back. I also need another SugarMama to buy it for me...
So, anything new and exciting, crazy or completely mundane happing in your lives? Tell me, tell me , tell me true!

Date: 2006-06-28 02:02 am (UTC)*actually, blue-eyed girl would be ideal but...*
Nothing new and exciting, I'm afraid. Unless you count flirting with the cute ER doc two Wednesdays ago. I distinctly remember a ring on her hand. Didn't stop the flirting, though.

I personally like the Matrix - so I am with Mrs. CB on this one (hmmm, now that I am thinking about it, I seem to always find myself on her side) Anyway, that Matrix is a cute car!

Date: 2006-06-28 06:39 pm (UTC)No news is good news here. I'm still traumatized from my encounter with DD coffee.
Oh, and if it makes you feel any better, I'm working on a certain crossover story that you wanted...
