Doesn't this new LJ feature kinda make you feel like you're back in highschool? You know, where kids could spend a buck and send someone a different colored carnation on Valentine's Day? And why arent they offering a virtual bottle of wine?

Mrs. CB was in charge of the flower thing for her school last year...we had carnations ALL over our house and Greyson was really digging it:

OMG it totally does! We had that at my school. Fortunately I had a rockin group of friends, and we sent flowers to each other, so none of us were empty handed. Then you walk around school all day with your carnations; the more you had, the smugger your smile. (smugger? Is that a word?)

My best year was Junior year. I had a boyfriend and he sent me 5 or 6 carnations on top of the ones my friends sent me. I was smug that day, I can tell you.

I got sent carnations from my parents through my college this year.

I hate Valentine's Day. It's ridiculous, commercialized bullshit. I've never liked it and it really isn't helping my disposition any that last year, Linds broke up with me right before DV-Day when I had already planned stuff to do for her because I knew she liked it.

Heh, my school is still doing that...Not that I'm expecting to get any carnations or roses this year. *shrugs*

The thing I'm really worried about getting is the "You Turn Me On" balloon that my school store currently has on sale. I can't imagine having to carry that around all day!
