Heh, clearly you didn't grow up Catholic. I've only ever known one nun under the age of seventy. (Granted, she'd've made a pretty cool dyke.) But, yeah, Catholic school nuns? 75 or older, gray-haired, can't smack kids with the the rulers anymore so they grow their nails out all long and TAPTAPTAP them on your desk when they scold you. Twisted, gnarled hands veins that look like blue cord and long yellow nails. One nun I knew has been 120 years old for the last 50 years. Seriously, every generation of Sacred Heart attendees I was acquainted with, so we're talking back into my grandparents' era, had been taught by her, and she'd been ancient since my mom was a kid. Her skin is about a molecule thick. I bet if you lifted up her habit you'd see all her internal organs.
I'm not sure why I feel compelled to destroy your nun fantasies, because that is very mean, isn't it?
Oh hell, I had 12 years of Catholic school. My first crush was on the very young, and incredibly beautiful Sr. Mary Suzette...
In junior high, we used to take trips up to the nunnery-the Sisters of Notre Dame Acadamy in Toledo, OH so that any young girls interested in joining up could have a looksy. Those sweet noviatiates...they more than made up for the "penguins" of the elderly variety.
Too bad I have issues with obeying, being poor and remaining chaste. I'da been a hawt lesbinun.
Dude, I had no idea you'd been a Catholic schoolgirl. My apologies.
You had a beautiful young nun? How in the hell did you get so lucky? I seriously have only met one nun under the age of seventy in my *life*. And Mary Suzette? Ours were all like Sister Raynald and Sister Eusebia. Lord a'mighty.
What do you call a woman in comfortable shoes with short hair? A nun. What do you call a woman in comfortable shoes with short hair? A lesbian. Coincidence? I think not.
