The Good and The Bad

Mom just e-mailed...her biopsies came back negative. Thank God and thanks to everyone that said a prayer.

While this is great news, my dad called yesterday to tell me that my 40 yr old cousin has mouth cancer and it may have already spread to his bones. I just saw him a few weeks ago at a small reunion and we were talking about how lucky our family was that everyone seemed healthy. I guess we jinxed ourselves.

I'm hoping they have caught his in time...he's a good guy for being a red-neck.

Sometimes I do believe in jinxes but mostly I believe that things hapen and there is usually a reason for it, even if I can't see it.
