Curiosity killed the cat?
Mar. 2nd, 2005 04:52 pmI just realized that I am approaching the one-year anniversary of being on LJ. With the exception of
invisible_sun (we'll miss ya Andy! Who will be Xenia:White Trash Princess at the Halloween parties?), I have gotten to know all of you through the Law and Order universes. So here are my questions for the day.
1. Prior to your LnO fascinations, what other fandoms did you follow?
2. Who did you ship?
3. Did you write fic for these other fandoms?
4. What do you think the next big ship will be?
I was a huge X-Files fan, then X:WP. I kinda fell into the A/O ship by accident.
I have only written for SVU.
I am hoping that TBJ will let me play with Amy Carlson...I have liked her since she played Josie on Another World.

The X-Files was probably the only one I will admit to (rather, that I haven't blocked out) but it was the biggie. That is to say I was completely obsessed for more than one season. And I was late to the party jumping in (for good) S4. Gillian Anderson was the beginning of the end for me.
2. Who did you ship?
Mulder/Scully, of course.
3. Did you write fic for these other fandoms?
I wrote one solo endeavor and then I found my <koff>writing partner<koff> and we wrote a few epics together.
4. What do you think the next big ship will be?
Hard to say. Personally, I'm hoping for a hot girlie addition to Cold Case so I can slash Lilly with someone in her own universe, but I think there's still much fun to be had with crossovers when TPTB don't give us what we want. Also, I find maintext to be gratifying to watch but not really gratifying to write. I love to mock The L Word but I haven't read a single fic that I've enjoyed. It seems when there's so much canon people can't write the characters believable... or maybe there aren't any great writers for maintext fandoms because there's little left for the imagination to explore.
