So LJ has games like FB now? Hmmm...

So Tues am while heading into the shower, I had an issue with my upper back. Those that know me know that I have degenerative disc disease and that I have had multiple surgeries/procedures on my lower back. The past couple years, I have been experiencing greater discomfort with my upper/middle back. Tuesday morning, it felt like someone had hit me right between the shoulder blades with a sledgehammer.

I went to work because of a Very Important Meeting I needed to attend but left when the meeting concluded. Wed I could not turn to drive, so I stayed home. Thurs I made it to work but was racked with spasms all day. Thank goodness it was a slow day. I have muscle relaxers, but because my job is critical to patient care, I won't take them while working, even if the doc says to. I just can't. It is probably the ONLY work ethic I have, but the only thing I will take for pain/spasms while handling patient reults is a couple advil.

Finally got into doc yesterday and at that point it was mostly some spasms and little pain. Til she actually touched my back and left ribcage. Holy Shit!! I actually broke out in a sweat. No wonder my blood pressure was high. The body knows when we are in pain even when we don't recognize it. She is such a good doc tho. She wanted to make sure it wasn't actually a heart attack (do YOU know the signs/symptoms of a heart attack in women? You should!!)or pleurisy. Once we were assured it was muscular, she asked if I wanted a referral to a plastic surgery cause, and I quote, "Your boobs are a size ZZZZ and they need to go!"

I am so ready for this! My girls went from a perfectly manageable 38C to a 46DDD in 5 years. Both my mother and my sister have had the same issue and they each had successful reductions. So I am gonna start researching plastic surgeons and hope to have my 38C's back sometime this summer. It will be SO nice to fit in my clothes again. Cause really, more than a handful is too much!

Both my mom and sister had the surgery so I pretty much know what to expect, although I think they only stayed over 1 night.
I think this will be very beneficial to me and our lifestyle. Hard to do anything when you are constantly suffering from back spasms. Hard to lose weight when you are carrying 20# of boobs around.
