cabensonWe had a wonderful discussion at work today about music from the 70's, so I thought I would pass the following question on to my flist:
What is your favorite 70's tune and why? Does it inspire feminist empowerment? Does it remind you of a specific socio-political event? Does it tempt you with the evils of sex,drugs,booze and...disco? Does it make you want to grow a 'fro?

Date: 2007-08-13 10:46 pm (UTC)I was only four when this song first came out, so I didn't grow to love it until a few years later. My mom loved the Eagles. We had all these eight tracks that we played at home and in the car. I can't really pinpoint an exact reason why I loved this song, but I sang it all the time back in the day and still get nostalgic when I hear it again.
