cabensonI have had not quite 8 hours of sleep in the past 60 hours. Not sure why either.
One of my co-workers was called up for active duty this weekend-she leaves in June for 18 months, cementing my need to retire in early May. And by retire, I mean fucking quit ;) Unfortunately, this person isn't The Bitch and we placed wagers to see how The Bitch reacts when she finds out tomorrow. I have warned everyone that if she spends the entire day coming up with "what if" staffing scenarios, I'll be shoving a big cup of Shut the fuck up down her pie-hole.
Bruin cuddled with me all night-Mrs. CB slept in the spare room.
My legs hurt and I don't know why. This is worrisome and I think we all DO know why. Looks like I need to spend some time laying on my ass and resting the nerves. Of course it could just be the weather with it's whole "I'm spring :slap: I'm Winter :slap: I'm spring and I'm winter :slap:" routine.
I have another TV girlfriend.
Mrs. CB is not amused.
I am making garlic/pepper crusted steaks, sauteed mushrooms, and wedge o'lettuce salads for dinner. Be here by 5:30 or no dinner for you.
Mrs. CB is also looking for a new job and I'm glad. Not only did a student make a sexually harassing comment to her, but he also threatened to come to our house. And Mrs. CB did not tell me about this when it first occurred because I am of the Scottish/Irish lineage and she knows my temper in regards to these things. I really don't want to have to explain another dead body in my yard.
Vacation in 6 weeks. Hope the restraining orders expire by then.
I came home from work with 15 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. I am supposed to diet for Lent. Houston, we have a problem.
In eight weeks, I will be 40. Guess it might be a good idea to start acting like an adult and get rid of my Xena:Warrior Princess checks.
It is looking good for the Ohio State Buckeye Football, Men's and Women's Basketball teams to be Big Ten Champs this year. A first for OSU. And we beat Penn State at the buzzer. I bet she cried like a little bitch when she saw that last shot go in. And yay for the Gay Flag bearing protesters- and Rene's comment regarding the protest made me laugh="Can't we just talk about basketball?" Yeah, sure, right after I ask Martha about her salad.
I need to work on my Femficathon '06 story, but first...cookies.
