cabensonI think I personally boosted the economy today by several points. Mrs. CB and I both took the day off and decided to do a little shopping...for ourselves. Who needs a retirement fund anyway, right?
I got a pair of leather hiking boots, some books, including TWOP the Book, a laptop case and a laptop to go with it. I had no choice, I crashed the other one with my large lesbian hands. Got a very basic Compaq with built in wireless at a sweet price and now I can write/read/kick librarian ass all from the comfort of my couch,my basement, or my ergonomically correct bed.
For those of you with laptops, has any one tried a Chill Mat and if so, what do you think of it? This little guy (I think I shall name him Troy Smith) has to last us through my finishing school and Mrs. CB's pursuit of a Ph. D. Anyone using IE 7? How do you like it?
Bo Schembechler, former Michigan coach died today. That is really sad, the game tomorrow is gonna be a classic. My brother LOVED Bo and I'm sure this will be as hard on him as it was for the rest of the family when Woody Hayes went to that big goal post in the sky. Now those two old schoolers can watch Teh Game together.
ETA: I asked for an opinion on an operating system I am comfortable with. I know a lot of other people use different OS's, but I'm not going to change just because someone says IE sucks. If I had wanted to be told how horrible Windows was, I would have been the first to say so.
