Saturday Morning Update
Mar. 3rd, 2007 09:54 amI am up, fed, showered, DRESSED!! and in the process of being caffeinated already and it's barely 10:00am on a Saturday. Mrs. CB is tutoring some of her "smart" kids and when she gets home, we are heading to the Home and Garden Show. Mama needs new gutters and her driveway re-done my friends, and this is the place to find people to take our money. This show has become a tradition for Mrs. CB and me- we closed on our house 5 years ago and I won a home security system from a company at the Show right before we moved in. Mrs. CB loves the Garden section and I love the Home section and many, MANY ideas (and lower back injuries) are born from this short trek down I-71.
Mama CB IM'd me out of the blue last night. She switched to Yahoo and stalked me ;) Actually, she wanted to make sure I had heard about the Blufffton U bus tragedy. Bluffton is about 10 miles from my hometown and my mom knows the grandfather of one of the kids that died. I cannot imagine how horrific that crash was and the absolute agony the survivors are feeling over their lost friends. Two of those lost were from my hometown.
Mama CB also had to put in her 2 cents about Anna Nicole Smith after I mentioned that my back was bothering me and I might need to take a pain pill (she said she was changing my name to Anna Nicole-ha ha). We discussed the probable parentage of that poor, poor, possible wealthy child. It's always enjoyable explaining new terms to your 60 year old mother, such as "Datalounge.com" and "gayface".
I think I have my story back on track. I hope to get some wordage down this evening after I finish my exercise bench.
maroukian asked me to take pics of the job in progress, so expect a picture post soon. Stop looking like that, your face will freeze that way!
I am going to do a couple SVU vids for my next editing projects. Any song suggestions for Olivia, Olivia/Alex? I am thinking of doing one about the whole squad.
I started a diet this week. I have eggs or oatmeal for breakfast, cereal for lunch, and a balanced meal for dinner. I can have a morning and late afternoon snack if it's one of those "100 Calorie" things. And no alcohol except the weekends. I am also walking more- I want to be ready cause NYC is a mere 5 weeks away. Shit! I see Stephanie March 5 weeks from tonight.
Okay, the wife is on her way home so I better finish getting ready.
Be good.

Date: 2007-03-04 02:02 am (UTC)Dieting and walking, are we? If the headline of the Arts & Leisure section of the New York Times five Sundays from now reads: "Stephanie March runs off with mysterious, well-toned Talk Radio audience member," leaving the rest of us to watch the understudy, there will be hell to pay.
